Chapter: 2118
"What's the matter?" Camila inquired with a concerned tone.

Panting heavily, Hyman managed to get out, "Someone came to the research institute asking for our artificial heart."

After a moment's pause, Camila's voice softened, "Who is it?"

“A patient with congenital heart disease," Hyman explained. “He heard about our success with the artificial heart and wants to try it himself." "This could be our opportunity," Hyman said, his voice tinged with urgency as he looked at Camila.

Camila nodded, fully aware of the implications.

"Go and verify if this person really has a heart condition."

She knew they had to tread cautiously after the incident with Kameron.

The artificial heart hadn't yet been approved for official use.

"I'll handle it immediately," Hyman assured her.

Then he left in a hurry.

He was indeed in a rush!

Meanwhile, Camila began the process of recruiting a skilled nursing worker to take care of Glenda at the hospital.

She was determined to find the right candidate; cost was no obstacle.

After several interviews, she made her choice.

Aware of the efforts Camila was putting into her care, Glenda said apologetically, "My illness has caused you so much trouble. You even hired someone to look after me, I..."

"Glenda," Camila said, taking her hands gently, "I don't think you're causing trouble at all. You've helped me so much at home in the past. Without you, I wouldn't have even been able to work. Now that you're ill, it's only right that I look after you. But since I have urgent matters to attend to at the research institute, I've asked a nursing worker to care for you. I truly feel sorry that I can't be here myself. Please, don't feel like you need to apologize or be formal with me."

“But I heard it costs eight hundred dollars a day for the nursing worker. That's too expensive. Normally, it's around a hundred dollars."

Camila reassured her, “It is more expensive, but also more reliable.”

Glenda didn't know what to say.

But she was very grateful.
