Upon Willie's return, he was promptly assigned a challenging task.

Having only recently returned from the hospital, Willie found himself burdened with a slew of tasks by Alick.

Willie frowned and protested, "It's bad enough that Mr. Johnston exploits me, and why must you do the same? Do you think I'm an easy target for bullying?"

Alick patted him on the shoulder and responded, “I apologize for burdening you with extra work. But know that it's for the greater good and my happiness."

Willie was shocked at this.

"I feel Like you're taking advantage of me because I don't have a girlfriend," he expressed.

Alick regarded him seriously. “You're onto something. That's precisely my intention.."

“Leave!”

Willie pushed him away.

Alick smiled faintly, then composed himself and continued, "Annis won't be here for long. I need to make time to accompany her. With that in mind, I won't have the time to handle these tasks. Could you do me a favor?"

Willie snorted. "A lover seems to outweigh a friend in your book."

Alick remained silent, offering no rebuttal.

Glancing at the pile of files on the table, Willie sighed at the challenges life had dealt him.

“I'll treat you to dinner another day." Alick offered.

Willie smirked. “It better be a feast."

“It's your call," Alick replied nonchalantly.

With the work sorted out, Alick casually asked Isaac when he would be finishing for the day.

Isaac hadn't completed his tasks yet, so he found it hard to believe that Alick had already wrapped up his own work.

He raised his eyes in suspicion.

With a smile, Alick explained, "I just thought it'd be nice to head back for dinner together. That's why I left my work for Willie to handle."
