She looked directly at him.

Then, she felt the urge to vomit.

Isaac didn't have time to get her out of the car.

Before he knew it, she had vomited all over him.

The smell was awful.

Isaac felt utterly helpless.

He shouldn't have entertained her drunken rambling. He should have carried her out of the car. Then he wouldn't be covered in this mess.

Isaac took off his coat and wiped himself down. Then he threw it on the ground and picked up Camila.

He told the driver to clean the car. "And please, get rid of these clothes for me."

The memory of this moment left a mark on him.

Back in the room, Camila still felt sick.

Isaac guided her to the bathroom.

With Bowen in her arms, Rowena frowned when she saw Camila. "Has she been drinking?"

Isaac nodded.

Rowena asked, “What's wrong with her? She never drinks. Why is she so drunk?"

Isaac explained, "She had a party with her colleagues at the research institute today. It wouldn't look good if she didn't drink at all."

"I'll fetch some warm water for her. She can take a _ shower downstairs!" Rowena entered the room, eager to assist.
