Chapter: 2175
Camila asked. She could tell that Laura wouldn't ask about Aldrin without a reason.

Laura probably heard something about him.

"At the time, he left me a letter saying he wanted to travel and explore the world alone. Since then, I haven't heard from him. I have no idea where he is. If you hear anything about him, please let me know," Camila explained.

Laura paused before replying, "Morrison is investigating a case that might involve Aldrin."

“Do you think he's done something illegal?" Camila asked, frowning.

"It's still uncertain. Don't worry," Laura assured. "If I find him, I'll speak to him."

“If you see him, make sure he calls me," Camila insisted, still uneasy.

“Okay, I will. Alright, I'm going to hang up," Laura said, ending the call.

Camila sighed, and Isaac, who had been listening, set the phone down and said, "He's an adult now. Stop worrying about him so much."

Camila looked up at Isaac. She had never felt particularly close to her half-brother, but since Trudy's death, Aldrin hadn't been pushed into harmful situations anymore. This brought them closer, and they began to bond. After all, they shared blood ties.

But now, Aldrin was out there on his own.

Camila still worried about him, fearing he might make the wrong decisions.

“You know nothing. Stop overthinking,"” Isaac insisted.

"I get it," Camila replied with a smile and went back to cooking.

It was her first attempt at frying meat, and she hadn't managed the heat well. It came out a bit overdone but tasted fine.

It was not as good as restaurant food, though.

The texture wasn't quite right. She wanted it crispy outside and tender inside.

"Next time, I'll go with a simpler recipe," she muttered under her breath, worried about messing it up again.

Isaac reassured her, “It's not bad."

"You're just being nice," she replied, although the compliment still made her happy, knowing her efforts were appreciated.
