“We're taking you on a nice vacation," Rowena replied casually.

Hearing this news, Joe became very happy.

Seeing Joe's excitement, Rowena let out a sigh.

“Yes, we're going to Clouland. There are lots of fun things to do there. I'll arrange for someone to take you around," Camila smiled and said.

“Will you and Dad play with me?" Joe asked.

Hearing this, Camila felt a tug at her heart. "We have to do something. We can't play with you."

"Joe, come here and stay quiet. Don't move."

Rowena sensed that something was wrong, although Camila didn't reveal the truth.

No matter how much Camila tried to act calm.

As her mother, Rowena could read Camila's true feelings from her expressions alone.

Joe nestled up to Camila and said, “Mommy, I want you to hold me.”

"Your mother is holding your brother. How can she hold both of you?"

Rowena asked.

Joe pouted in disappointment and reluctantly returned to Rowena's seat. "Bowen has taken all my mother's love."

"He's much younger than you. He needs more care," Rowena explained.

Hearing this, Joe leaned against Rowena's chest and raised his head to complain, "But I'm still a child, too."

Rowena gently stroked Joe's head and comforted him, "You're a strong boy now. You'll have to protect Bowen and your mother in the future.”

“And Grandma, I want to protect you too!" Joe exclaimed excitedly, grabbing onto Rowena's clothes.

“You're such a sweet boy, my dear grandson," Rowena said, smiling happily.

Later, Joe fell asleep from exhaustion.
