Camila was well aware of childbirth's pain. She could imagine the agony Laura was going through.

Taking a deep breath, Camila asked, "Which hospital is Morrison at?"

"Starhaven General Hospital," Colin answered.

“I'm sending a specialist in cardiac surgery. You'll need to pick him up. Laura sounded urgent. If the hospital staff is unsure, stabilize Morrison and wait for him. If surgery's an option, don't delay."

"Alright," Colin replied.

“How's Laura?"

"In an ambulance. We are on our way to the hospital."

“Please, take care of her. I won't be there for ten hours."

Camila ended the call, her leg throbbing.

As she limped to the house, she saw Eagle standing by the door.

He watched as Glenda and Joe played in the yard, the little boy's laughter echoing as he ran around.

Eagle's eyes held concern. “Are you hurt?"

"Just a sprain."

Eagle grunted, his gaze flickering to her ankle. He remained silent.

Camila asked a servant to fetch her an ice pack.

Soon, she held back a wince as she applied it. She dialed Alick's number. The call connected quickly.

"Camila," Alick greeted.

"Alick, I need to return immediately," she stated.

A beat of silence followed. "Now?" Alick finally confirmed.

“Yes," Camila pressed. "Book the soonest flight back, preferably near Starhaven."
