Chapter: 2275
"Did you save me?" he asked.
The woman seemed surprised when she heard him reply in her language.
"No, it was my husband," she explained, a smile slitting her chubby face.
The woman looked quite friendly.
“Why's everything blurry?" Isaac muttered, perplexed by his impaired vision.
His surroundings appeared shrouded, making it difficult to distinguish shapes or faces clearly.
He struggled to make out the woman's features.
ALL he could discern was a vague outline.
With a sympathetic tone, the woman said, “Maybe the fall affected your eyes."
Hearing this, Isaac fell silent, his mind racing with questions.
He had been fine before his fall.
How could he have injured his eyes simply from stumbling?
His leg, however, was a different story.
He recalled feeling a sharp pain in his right leg just before losing consciousness.
“I'll get you some water," the woman offered, returning with a glass.
Isaac declined the water, instead asking, “Where am I?"
“Dumpson," the woman replied simply.
“Where exactly in Dumpson?" Isaac pressed further.
The woman named a location unfamiliar to him.
Despite Dumpson being known for some of its more famous areas, this place was obscure and unknown to the public.
