Chapter: 2308
He was worried that Isaac's impaired vision might hinder his ability to dial the number correctly.

"Good luck and take care," he said, handing the phone to Isaac and patting his shoulder before swiftly departing with the gun.

As soon as the phone rang, Camila answered, her voice fraught with anxiety.

"Isaac?"

Isaac pressed the phone to his ear.

Speaking calmly, he gave her instructions. “Camila, listen carefully. Have Alick trace the location of my mobile phone and then get me. Don't come alone. There may be danger here, so you must be well prepared. And don't worry. I'm fine."

The last sentence served as a reassurance for Camila, aimed at easing her worry.

With desperation etched on her face, Camila grasped Willie's hand and repeated Isaac's instructions. “Please, hurry," she implored.

Willie immediately sprang into action, activating the equipment in the car and using the tracker they had brought to locate Isaac.

Camila clutched the phone tightly. It was her only lifeline to Isaac.

Her voice trembled as she asked, “Are you okay?"

“Yes, I'm fine. Don't worry," Isaac reassured her, speaking in a hushed tone.

Camila heard the sound of wind on his side, and her anxiety grew.

"Are you outside?" she asked.

"Yes."

Willie furrowed his brow, his expression concerned, as he monitored Isaac's weak signal, which caused the data to load painfully slowly.

With her gaze fixed on the computer screen, Camila consoled Isaac, “Willie is tracing your location."

Isaac, unable to see anything and uncertain of his phone's remaining battery Life, understood the gravity of the situation. They'd have no chance of finding him if his phone ran out of power in this desolate place.

"Okay," he responded calmly, remaining focused and composed.

Forrest was growing frustrated and impatient at the wheel. "Isn't it done yet?"
