Willie went to look for a doctor and had not returned.

But Alick's issue could not be delayed.

Forrest walked up to the door and knocked.

After a while, there was a noise, and the door opened.

Isaac was at the door.

He raised his hand and beckoned to Forrest.

Forrest understood and took Isaac's hand.

“To the study," Isaac softly said.

Forrest nodded and helped him move to the study. While they walked to the study, he couldn't help but say, "Something happened to Alick."

A flicker of emotions passed Isaac's face, but he regained his composure before Forrest could notice.

He would not let fear rule him.

Forrest, however, couldn't hide his panic. "They said they were going to cut off one of his legs. What do we do? Will they really cut off his leg?"

"Stay calm!" Isaac ordered.

Forrest immediately kept quiet.

Calming himself, he asked, "Do you think they were bluffing?"

"Not necessarily," Isaac replied.

Forrest was dumbstruck.

Anxiously, he said, "You don't appear worried."

"What would panic achieve?" Isaac asked.

Forrest didn't have an answer.
