Forrest glanced at Isaac and cleared his throat softly.

How unfortunate it was that Isaac was unable to see!

He had never witnessed Isaac in such a state of misery since their acquaintance.

It had always been Isaac who wielded authority over others.

Now, Forrest found himself able to effortlessly assert himself in Isaac's presence.

Forrest walked over.

Camila immediately led him to a corner where their voice couldn't be heard by others.

"You go and fetch Annis."

Forrest was taken aback. "What?"

"She couldn't reach Alick, so she returned. Subsequently, upon learning Alick had arrived in Clouland, she revisited. She neglected to notify me beforehand; instead, she called upon her arrival."

"No one's aware of Alick's current whereabouts," Forrest remarked.

Camila glanced at him, stating, "She's already arrived. What's our course of action?"

Before Forrest could respond, she continued, "She's already here. If we refuse her entry, she'll speculate further. We'll inform her later that Isaac has dispatched Alick abroad to expand the business."

Then she inquired, "Have you been in touch with Alick?"

"I've located them," Forrest declared, a hint of relief in his tone.

“But earlier, you said his whereabouts were unknown?" Camila's concern was evident in her furrowed brow.

Forrest hesitated, then decided honesty was the best policy. “Alick might have been arrested, but Isaac has someone looking for him, so don't worry."

Camila's worry grew. "Is he in danger?"

Forrest sidestepped her question, not wanting to add to her distress.

He chose not to mention what he was told on the phone, fearing it would only upset her further.
