Chapter: 2372
“We can't keep calling her ‘Baby.' Our little one deserves a proper name," Morrison said.
Laura arranged the bouquet of flowers in a vase.
They were tokens of well wishes from loved ones, accompanied by an abundance of fresh fruits.
Wearing a simple pajama, she turned, her gaze fixed on Morrison.
“It's time she had a name. Any thoughts?"
The idea hadn't quite dawned on her yet.
Morrison had pondered extensively, conjuring numerous options. But he was apprehensive of Laura's approval.
Approaching the bed, Laura stood beside Morrison. “Why do you still act like a stranger towards me?"
Morrison shook his head. "I don't."
"You do," Laura insisted, leaning closer. "You haven't given it much thought, have you? That's why you're silent now, isn't it?"
"I have," Morrison retorted instinctively.
Then he realized his hastiness in responding to her.
A grin spread across Morrison's face. "Never mind. You're just teasing me."
With a soft smile, Laura reached out, her touch tender. “I know you're the only one who indulges me."
Locking eyes with Laura, Morrison said, “Let's nickname her Honey, our little sweetheart. And her formal name can be Sariah. How does that sound?"
Laura nodded eagerly. "I love it. Sariah Armstrong."
Morrison faltered. "Sariah Armstrong?"
“Why not?" Laura looked surprised. "You're the father!"
"I thought..." Morrison stammered.
"What did you think?" Laura's tone stiffened, her gaze intense.
