Morrison struggled to find the words.

He didn't like being this way.

He had always been aware of Laura's past.

It had never bothered him.

He never considered it important.

In fact, before they married, Laura had checked if it was an issue for him.

His answer would be the same even now.

It didn't bother him.

But after drinking, he couldn't stop thinking about it.
