Upon entering the room, Annis couldn't resist placing the suitcase on the sofa and starting to open it.

Alick asked nonchalantly, “Could you make me a glass of juice, please?"

Annis turned to face him.

"I'll see what's inside this first, then I'll..."

"Now," Alick interjected firmly.

Realizing he was still not fully well, Annis headed off to make the juice with a sigh.

It wasn't that she was reluctant to care for him.

She just didn't want to do it right then.

She was curious about the contents of the suitcase.

As she walked into the kitchen, Alick surreptitiously opened the suitcase to inspect its contents.

He harbored a fear that whatever lay inside might upset Annis.

It was clear to him that Annis truly regarded Isaac as her own brother.

She deeply valued his opinion.

After seeing what was inside, he quickly shut the suitcase.

Soon, Annis returned with a glass of freshly made juice.

Handing the glass to Alick, she asked, "You didn't peek inside the suitcase while I was gone, did you?"
