When it was time to leave, Camila gently carried the sleeping Joe out of the shop.

As they got into the car, Joe began to stir. "Mom, can I have another slice of cake?" he murmured, still half-asleep.

Camila and Annis chuckled at his sleepy request.

"What kind would you like? I'll take you to get some," Annis offered with a grin.

Joe opened his eyes, realizing they had left the shop and were already in the car.

It was almost evening. Annis made a quick stop at a cake shop to fulfill Joe's request, and then they headed to a restaurant for dinner.

By the time Camila and Joe returned home, it was already eight o'clock in the evening.

Tired from the day's activities, Joe went to bed immediately after showering.

In the evening, Camila took care of Bowen, giving Glenda a chance to rest. With Isaac and Forrest away, likely with Alick, Camila didn't bother calling to check on them. As it was already late, she settled Bowen for the night and went to sleep herself.

In the middle of the night, she faintly heard the door open but was too sleepy to fully wake up.

Isaac slipped into bed, his arms wrapping around her waist from behind.

She felt the warmth and firmness of his chest against her back, and she instinctively leaned into his embrace.

“What time is it?" she asked groggily.

"It's almost one in the morning," Isaac replied.

“What kept you out so late?" Camila frowned slightly.

Isaac's fingers caressed her waist soothingly as he explained, "I was handling something for Alick. Now, go back to sleep."

Comforted by his presence, Camila quickly drifted back to sleep.

The following day, Camila rose early to dress both children for the wedding.

Despite their young age, she felt it was important for them to be appropriately attired for the occasion.

Camila put on a dress, and although she rarely wore makeup, she applied some to complement her outfit.
