Alick was momentarily speechless.

Annis chuckled at Forrest's antics; she noticed Alick's ears turning red as she drew nearer.

She hadn't expected Alick to be shy.

"“Alick, kiss her. If you don't, I don't mind helping you!" Forrest continued, emboldened by the setting which prevented Alick from retorting.

Annis moved closer, wrapped her arms around Alick's neck, and before he could respond, she kissed him.

Alick stiffened for a moment before responding by holding her waist.

Joe, like the others, clapped his hands and turned to Camila, saying, “Mommy, they're kissing."

Camila gently stroked her son's hair.

“Mom." Joe looked up with curiosity. "Do you and Daddy kiss a lot?"

Camila found herself at a loss for words.

She looked down at her son, her face a mixture of amusement and bewilderment.

How should she explain this to him?

Meanwhile, Isaac watched the exchange with a smile, unnoticed by Camila.

Forrest lifted Joe into his arms with a playful grin. "You wouldn't be here if your parents didn't kiss, you know?"

Camila was momentarily speechless.

"What do you mean?" Joe asked, his eyes wide with confusion.

“I mean—"

“Shut up!" Camila cut him off before he could continue. "Ever since you had a daughter, you've become quite the chatterbox.

She remembered him being much quieter before.

Forrest seemed puzzled and asked, “Did 1?"
