"Alick, Annis is calling you."

Alick made his way over.

“Can't you two speak more kindly?" Camila frowned at Forrest.

“Just kidding." Forrest grinned. “Okay, I'll tone it down.”

They stayed out until evening.

Dinner was not necessary.

They were all full.

After bathing the two children and tucking them into bed, Camila entered the bedroom to find Isaac by the window, on a phone call.

She quietly approached and wrapped her arms around his waist from behind.

"Who are you talking to?" she whispered.

Isaac didn't respond.

Deliberately, Camila slid her hand inside his collar.

He pressed her restless hand against his chest.

Turning to face her, he spoke into the phone. "Get it done within two days." Then, he ended the call.

He turned around, wrapping his arms around her waist.

She clung to him immediately, feeling the warmth of his body through his clothes.

Camila raised her head.

Her hair wasn't completely dry, still carrying the fresh scent of shampoo.

"What needs to be done within two days?" she asked.

“Don't you want to go back? I told them to prepare everything within two days," Isaac replied.
