Laura still didn't respond.

Obviously, something was wrong.

“What's going on?" Camila asked anxiously.

On the verge of breaking down, Laura could barely communicate with Camila.

“Okay. Where are you?" Camila changed tactics.

After a long time, Laura finally responded. "I'm at Forrest's house. Can you come and pick me up?"

While they both trotted down the stairs, Isaac asked, “Where are you going?"

Isaac stopped in his tracks and said, "Turns out we're going to the same place."

Camila was confused. Then it occurred to her that Forrest and Isaac were friends. "Is Forrest looking for you, too?"

Isaac nodded. "Let's go together."

Camila followed him to the car obediently.

Isaac drove, whereas Camila sat in the passenger seat.

The two remained silent throughout the trip.

They both wanted to say something, but neither of them knew what to say.

After a while, Camila finally broke the silence. "My friend's name is Laura. She was in a relationship with Forrest before."

Isaac didn't pay too much attention to Forrest's private affairs, so he didn't know about Laura.
