In the bathroom, Gunter, burdened with guilt, could not bring himself to face Audrey. He dawdled for a long time before coming out.

“What took you so long? Did you wash away all the traces of your woman?" Audrey jokingly asked.

Her words startled Gunter and made his hair stand on end.

He forced himself to calm down and pretended to be offended. "What nonsense are you talking about?"

Audrey gently patted him on the chest.

“Relax. I was just kidding. I've been really busy in helping Travis stabilize the company, so I couldn't take care of you. I'm sorry."

As she spoke, she leaned against Gunter and caressed his body.

Little did she know, Gunter and Fidelia had just had sex. He was no longer in the mood and could not even bring himself to have an erection.

Audrey noticed it but did not take it seriously, thinking she could do something about it. Perhaps she could seduce him to excite his Libido.

Unfortunately, her efforts were in vain.

“I'm probably just too tired," Gunter reasoned out so as not to let Audrey down.

“What made you so tired? Do you know how long we've gone without having sex?"

Audrey had come back early today to make it up to her husband. Besides. it was still early in the morning. What could he have done this early?

Gunter rolled his eyes and assured her, “I know, and I also know how tired you are. I can see the sacrifices you're doing for our family. I just don't want you to overexert yourself.”

“Really?” Audrey asked with narrowed eyes.

“Do you think I can lie to you? If I ever lie to you, I swear I will never be a man"

“Alright, alright." Audrey rolled her eyes at him and chuckled. "I believe you."

However, as soon as she finished speaking, Gunter's phone rang. His heart skipped a beat. He rushed to grab his phone, but Audrey beat him to it.

"You seem nervous," she remarked upon noticing the anxiety on his face.

“Me? Nervous?" Gunter asked with a nervous laugh.

Audrey took a look at the caller ID. It was an unknown number. Perplexed, she pressed the answer button at once.

Before Audrey could speak, Gunter grabbed the phone and shouted, “Why are you answering the call without my permission? This is my phone!"

For a second, she was stunned before she narrowed her eyes at him. His reaction alone was enough to suggest to her that he was hiding something.

Gunter had no choice but to roar at her. Had the call come from Fidelia, then their Little secret would've been exposed.

“Give me your phone right now," Audrey said in a threatening tone as she stretched out her hand towards him.
