Chapter: 772
At once, he reached out and took her hand. Audrey's eyes were cold and full of venom. She wanted Gunter dead. It was too much for her to take, to be betrayed in such a way.
She shook off his hand. Without hesitation, she plunged the bloodied knife into his heart. "I was loyal to you, but what did you do?”
Blood oozed from the wound, soaking Gunter's clothes. He stared at Audrey in agony, unable to defend himself.
“You're so viciou:
“I'm vicious?" Audrey snarled, "You drove me to do this!"
Gunter wished he could strangle her but lacked the strength to do so. Audrey did not panic because she knew he was powerless to do anything to her.
She sneered.
“This is your end, Gunter." Her gaze was ice-cold and without emotion. She realized she had no way out, and since she was doomed regardless, she might as well kill him and drag him with her to hell.
“I've never been this humiliated before. I had my dignity shattered by a girl, all because of you. I can't think of a greater insult to my pride than this."
"You fucking bitch." Gunter's face had gone pale. His vision was starting to blur, and he was rapidly losing blood.
In one swift motion, Audrey withdrew the knife, and more blood gushed out of his wound. His dark red blood began to spill onto the floor, and he collapsed.
He landed at her feet with a Loud thud.
Audrey picked up a scrap of paper and wiped the knife clean of blood She then walked out of the room, closed the door behind her, and headed to Fidelia's place.
Fidelia was relaxing on the couch in her casual attire, eating fruit and watching TV.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
She did not move to open the door but asked, “Who is it?"
No one responded.
Once more, the doorbell rang.
With a grumble, Fidelia got to her feet and slipped into her slippers. She Looked through the peephole on the door and saw Audrey outside. Her brows furrowed, wondering why the woman was there again.
With Gunter on her side, she was no longer intimidated by Audrey and opened the door without hesitation.
She crossed her arms over her chest and asked haughtily, "What are you doing here? Are you here to beg for mercy? Just so you know, I won't be lenient with you. Anyway, I'd rather not see you, so don't come here again. Otherwise, I'll have to convince Gunter to upgrade my current villa to something fancier."
“I don't think he can do that now," Audrey stated with an eerie smile. Fidelia was completely oblivious to the danger that was about to befall her. She did sense that cold air emanating from Audrey, though. She straightened her shoulders and pretended to be calm.
“He'll buy it for me if I ask for it. Then, he'll divorce you.."
Before she could finish her words, she noticed the knife Audrey was hiding behind her.
Her eyes widened in bewilderment. She turned around to flee, but Audrey shot forward and grabbed her by the hair.
