Chapter: 778
Although he was a little worried, he didn't show it, but asked intimidatingly, "This is where we are now and there's no solution to it. I've given you someone to hold accountable, but clearly, you're not satisfied. So who do you want to take the fall? My grandson? Me?"

The whole room fell silent.

He glanced at them and said, “Do you think I wanted something of the sort to happen? No! But here we are. We just have to work together to come up with a solution. You do know that the Johnston family has lost more than all of you combined, right?"

How could they refute that? He was right.

In fact, that was why the Johnston family was in charge of the company. They owned the most shares.

Knowing this, how could they say anything more?

After a short silence, a director said, "We might have a solution." Robin nodded without looking up. "What's that?"

“We think that Isaac is most suitable to take care of this crisis and manage the company in a whole," answered another director.

Robin's eyes darkened slightly, but he didn't say anything.

He had thought about it himself before coming here, but he couldn't do that.

The moment he chose Travis over Isaac, the young man severed all ties with him.

There was no way for him to go back.

Even if he crawled and groveled for Isaac to help him, he knew Isaac too well to be sure that he wouldn't do it.

Hexagon Inc. owed about ten billion, and since Travis owned eighty percent of its shares, most of it fell on his head.

They didn't know one thing though. The paper that Travis and Audrey had signed wasn't valid.

Since Travis signed the contract first with Alick, before he did with Audrey, the latter held no power. Now, Audrey was in prison, awaiting the verdict for her crimes.

The evidence that was presented against her was irrefutable. Luckily, Gunter wasn't dead but Fidelia was. She had tried to kill two people, and that alone was a very serious crime.

She was going to face a heavy penalty for that. Now that Isaac held something against her, it might be even worse for her.

Also, if Travis couldn't pay the debt of ten billion, the law was bound to punish him. That was no small amount of money. It occurred when Travis was still CEO of the Paramount Corporation. So, him being in trouble meant the company was in trouble too.

The board members all knew this and only hoped that Isaac would come back and help them.

Unfortunately, Robin was too ashamed to beg Isaac.

Camila wasn't surprised when she got back home from the hospital and met Alick. He had been spending a lot of time here these days.

Even Joe had gotten used to him.

Unlike before, the baby didn't cry in his arms.

As she walked in and saw them playing, she washed her hands and said
