“If she's here, how can I enjoy my wedding in peace?"

“So you'll only rest easy if she's gone?" Camila asked in reply.

After a moment's silence, Forrest nodded. "At Least I'd have some peace of mind. I have no choice. Now that things have happened, I have to take responsibility for her and the two families."

Camila took a deep breath. It seemed that things weren't easy for Forrest, either. Perhaps he didn't want to get married.

"I'll take care of her, okay? Don't worry." Camila tried to comfort him.

Forrest smiled helplessly.

“I have no right to interfere in her affairs now."

"Since that's the case, stop thinking about her and focus on your wedding."

A voice suddenly sounded from behind Forrest!

Aldrin was standing close by with Laura beside him when Forrest turned around.

For a brief moment, Forrest's expression seemed to change to something unusual, but eventually, his gaze settled on Laura.

Standing in close proximity to her, Aldrin sensed her trembling, so he took her hand and whispered to her, "Don't be afraid. I'm here with you."

Forrest's fists clenched when he noticed Aldrin holding Laura's hand. Camila observed that Forrest was struggling to control his emotions, so she hurriedly approached Laura strategically obstructing Forrest's view and said, "Now that I've located them, I think I should escort them out. Forrest, you can return to your work."

Forrest didn't leave. Instead, he walked purposefully toward them and said, "I need to speak with Laura."

Laura lifted her eyes with an emotionless expression. Then she said in a calm voice, “There is nothing for me to discuss with you. It's your wedding day, so take care of yourself. I don't want to disrupt your special day. To be honest, if I had known it was your wedding day, I wouldn't have even been here. Aldrin tricked me into coming. He said that it was his friend's wedding and asked me to be his date for the occasion. I didn't come here with the intention of ruining your wedding or causing any trouble.”

After she finished her words, Laura tugged at Aldrin's hand and declared, "I think it's time for us to leave."

Forrest caught up to them and forcefully removed Aldrin's hand from Laura's grip. He immediately proceeded to shove Aldrin to the side

Laura took Aldrin as a friend, so she couldn't fathom why Forrest would treat him in such a manner.

“Forrest, what exactly do you think you are doing?" Laura asked, perplexed by his behavior.

“As the groom and the center of attention today, you are supposed to be welcoming and nice to the people who have come here because of you. Instead, you hurt and mistreated him. Is this how your esteemed family treats its guests?" She couldn't hide her disappointment with Forrest's conduct. One could tell from the chilly tone she used as she spoke.

Forrest didn't respond to her. He took hold of her wrist and swiftly led her away.

“Get your hands off me!" Laura demanded fiercely.

Aldrin rushed over and attempted to separate Forrest's hand from Laura's wrist. "Let her go!" Camila lunged forward to stop Aldrin.

“Why are you trying to stop me? Can't you see Forrest taking Laura against her wish? He's already bullying her for crying out loud!” Aldrin exclaimed, frustrated by Camila's interference.

“He won't bully Laura. Let them sort things out between themselves. We shouldn't get involved," Camila replied, trying to calm Aldrin down.
