Chapter: 3744
Instead, they made the journey in Melissa's white Bentley.

Seated in the front passenger seat, Marcus looked around at the pink interior decor of the car. Then he said suddenly, “Every time I see you drive this car, it reminds me the way you're wearing my shirt after we made love, making me want to..."

He deliberately left the sentence unfinished.

Melissa held the steering wheel tightly and shook her head exasperatedly. "I didn't know that you have such a fantasy," she murmured.

Marcus leaned back on the seat and said with a shrug, "There's a lot you don't know. As a man, it's normal for me to fantasize about such things."

“Of course, you have the right to think whatever you like," Melissa returned.

At this point, they had reached a red light, so she stopped the car and added, "But you can't think about other women apart from me."

This statement pleased Marcus a lot. In fact, he even began to think of cancelling the rendezvous with James so he and Melissa could have a wonderful time at home.

But then, he had given his word that he would be there. He couldn't go back on his word. That was not in his character.

Half an hour later, Melissa rolled the white Bentley to a stop at the gate of the club. The moment she stepped out of the car, she saw Albert's car. She was astonished. "Is Mr. Waston also here?" she asked Marcus.

Marcus held her in his arms and said teasingly, "It seems you and Mr. Waston are destined to meet each other today."

Melissa noticed Marcus' jealousy bubbling up once again.

But instead of getting mad, she gently touched his arm and asked, "Aren't we here to chill? What's eating you up now?"

Marcus replied honestly, “Can't I feel a little jealous?"

Beneath the city lights, Melissa's face glowed softly. Since it was just a night out with friends, she dressed more casually and leaned against him without a fuss.

She gave his waist a light squeeze and whispered, “Marcus, let's leave the past behind, alright? No blaming each other."

The night air felt cool against their skin.

Marcus' heart melted at her words. He took her hands and locked eyes with her, their noses almost touching.

"Alright, no more of the blame game," he agreed.

Melissa couldn't resist planting a kiss on him. Being shorter, she had to stand on tiptoe. But when a woman was in love, she just couldn't help herself. Marcus stayed still, his dark eyes fixed on her.
