Chapter: 3905
Jessie couldn't tolerate these remarks any longer.
In a hushed tone, she confided, “Actually, I'm currently seeing someone. Besides, Albert and I ended things a while back. Presently, I'm solely here for the language class. Frankly, I'm uncertain how long Jeslyn will endure it."
Nonetheless, Elsie remarked casually, "Mr. Waston briefed me on the matter. He believes in offering ample opportunities to the younger generation before they determine what's best for them.”
Upon hearing this, Jessie muttered under her breath, “What an insufferable jerk!"
Unaware that she had entered the living room while engrossed in conversation with Elsie, Jessie found Albert already there, as anticipated. Holding a newspaper, he queried casually, "Who's the insufferable jerk? Are you referring to me?"
With a chuckle, Elsie ascended the stairs to summon Jeslyn.
Jessie and Albert found themselves alone.
Unable to contain her frustration any longer, Jessie confronted Albert. "What do you want from me, Albert? Why do you persistently target me? I'm in a relationship already. Can't you leave me alone?
Or do you intend to persist until you destroy my life?"
Albert was taken aback by her words.
However, he gazed at Jessie intently, as though studying her.
After a brief pause, he sneered. “It seems you're quite content with your new boyfriend, aren't you? He's young, promising, and well-educated. But I haven't overstepped any boundaries, let alone tried to ruin your life. If you didn't want to be Jeslyn's teacher, you could've declined from the outset. But wasn't it your boyfriend who made that decision for you?"
In this way, neither of them showed any willingness to back down.
Recalling the moment when Axell kissed Jessie, Albert harbored an intense desire to tear the man apart.
Similarly, Jessie lost her temper and exclaimed, “I'm telling you, I quit. I refuse to teach your daughter!"
Subsequently, she retrieved a bundle of cash from her bag and hurled it at Albert, causing him to wince in agony. With a frigid tone, she instructed, "Take your money back! Never appear before me again."
Albert glared at her with fury, yet Jessie remained unfazed.
Turning on her heels, she prepared to depart. Suddenly, she heard a plaintive voice emanating from the staircase. "Do you hate me, Jessie?"
Jessie turned around, searching for the source of the voice.
The villa was aglow with stunning lights, enhancing its beauty.
