He kidnapped and tortured Jeslyn and also stabbed me in the abdomen with a knife. I have enough evidence to put him behind bars for at least ten years. Aren't you going to ask about him and beg me to have mercy on him?"

Jessie, her back still turned against him, said nothing for a while.

With a sigh, she finally turned around and said, "Well, you have my attention; tell me what you are going to do to him."

True to his nature as a cunning businessman, Albert didn't reply to her question but instead asked, "Would your view of me be affected based on what I do to him? If I decide to throw him to jail for, say ten years, you won't feel heartbroken for him, right?"

Seeing Albert as being hypocritical, Jessie sneered at him. "Just tell me what you want from me! Do you want me to plead for him or not?"
