Chapter: 4355
How could Dylan feel comfortable with leaving her alone?
He took out a cigarette, Lighting it as he spoke. “Get back in the car! I'll take you wherever you need to go today.”
In reality, Olivia knew his thoughts.
After a pause, she confessed, "Dylan, we... we're not right for each other."
Without meeting Raphael, she might have ended up with Dylan. But love doesn't follow a queue. Despite knowing Dylan for so long, when true love arrived, it drowned out everything else.
Raphael was her deafening voice.
An hour later, Dylan dropped Olivia off at Leonel's villa. Aware of Leonel's circumstances, Dylan didn't linger and drove off directly.
Olivia lugged her luggage into the house.
Spotting Olivia, the servant hastened to welcome her. "Miss Evans has arrived! Mr. Douglas is at home; he's upstairs in the study."
Olivia nodded in acknowledgment.
After setting down her suitcase, Olivia grabbed a small bag and went upstairs.
Arriving on the second floor, Olivia pushed open the study door. As anticipated, Leonel was engrossed in his work, looking very focused.
Olivia stole a glance at him before quietly attempting to slip away.
Without lifting his gaze, Leonel asked, "Back from your trip? Did you bring me the medicine?"
Olivia hummed in affirmation, settling onto the sofa. She extracted the contents of her small bag-four boxes of medicine unavailable locally.
She explained, “I heard rumors about you while purchasing the medicine. I was tempted to toss it all into the river."
“Then why didn't you?"
Before Olivia could respond, Leonel spotted the tear streaks on her face. He sighed. "What happened? Didn't you consult the fortune-teller before leaving today? Bumped into Raphael, didn't you?"
Olivia sensed his intuition.
However, she tried to avoid the topic of Raphael and simply said, "Ran into him at the airport."
