Chapter: 4354
Dylan shot Raphael a glare before catching up with Olivia. His palm instinctively settled on her slender shoulder. Olivia didn't pull away, almost leaning into his embrace.
Despite her small size, when she rested in his broad arms, they appeared perfectly matched, their intimacy suggesting a _ strong connection.
Raphael remained silent as he watched them.
Seeing Dylan again brought back memories of the unpleasantness surrounding his breakup with Olivia. She had asserted that they were incompatible as a couple, mentioning Dylan's persistent pursuit of her over time. Olivia had expressed her desire to opt for a path that would be advantageous for her.
How ironic! The princess of the Evans family in Czanch would stoop to material motives.
Sharon came to his side, speaking softly, "Let it go; she's been sharp since school. I've heard she always had a thing for wealthy men. That man is likely just another one. I know you've been single all this time. People don't know the truth, but I do. You're still holding out for Olivia. But as you can see, it's not worth it.”
Raphael's expression turned stern. "You've crossed the Line."
Such a tone indicated his severe displeasure. Sharon had much to say, but now wasn't the time.
In Dylan's sleek black Land Rover, Olivia sat in the passenger seat, tears flowing freely. She had already gone through at Least twenty tissues.
Dylan rested his hand on the steering wheel, glancing at her. “Still hung up on him? How many years has it been?"
Though the guy was decent-looking, he was past his prime. Plus, with maturity, he seemed more like an elite trying too hard and flaunting his success.
Olivia could find dozens of guys like him.
Dylan asked, a tinge of jealousy in his voice, “What does he have that I don't?"
Olivia's nose was red from crying. She struggled to compose herself and eventually managed to stop the tears.
Her red lips curled slightly as she murmured, “He's more devoted than you."
Dylan grew more discontented. “Sure, he's devoted now, but only to the woman beside him. I recall that woman used to trash you relentlessly. Yet he still keeps her by his side. Disgusting, isn't it?"
Olivia fell silent.
Dylan's words struck a chord because, even without Sharon's influence, she and Raphael were no Longer feasible. It seemed they were destined to remain apart.
Now, that was a relief.
After regaining her composure, Olivia declined Dylan's offer to drive her. Instead, she stepped out of the car and stated, "I need to bring something to Leonel. Dylan, you can head home now."
