Chapter: 4361
He kept his eyes on the road, not wanting to bother Leonel.

The sleek vehicle rolled through the busy streets of Duefron. As evening settled in and the streetlights flickered to life, people crowded the sidewalks. Leonel glanced outside...

For the first time, the hustle and bustle didn't seem to reach him.

The car left the busy city and entered a quiet neighborhood, driving through a wooded path that led to Leonel's mansion.

Just as the driver was about to park, Leonel said, "Put it in the underground garage."

The driver was surprised but he did as told, turning the car toward the underground entrance.

The garage was huge. Leonel used to be crazy about cars, collecting more than a dozen high-end rides. He'd take them out for a drive every now and then.

But now...

Leonel, sitting in the back, told the driver, "You can go."

The driver hesitated for a moment before getting out.

Leonel was alone in the car, with only the faint sound of his breathing.

After a while, he slowly opened the door and walked toward the cars he used to love.

He ran his slender fingers over each one, feeling the dust that had settled on them and filled with nostalgia.

Every car was covered in a thick layer of dust. None had moved in over six months. They were more like showpieces now.

Leonel knew he'd never drive them again.

Just like he'd never be with Alexis again.

After standing silently for a while, he picked up his phone and dialed Noreen's number. He calmly instructed, “Arrange to sell off all the cars in the garage... Yeah, I don't care about the price."

Noreen, on the other end, was stunned.

She knew how much those cars meant to Leonel; some were even picked out by him and Alexis together. Selling them was the last thing she thought he'd do.

Noreen was shocked and had to ask him again.
