Chapter: 4388
With a mix of guilt and concern, Leonel asked, “Which hospital is she in? I'll be there."

But Alexis hesitated on the other end of the line.

Then she spoke softly. “Wouldn't that bother you and Miss Molina? Last time we bumped into each other, she mentioned she has anxiety issues. She said if I keep coming by, it might make things worse for her. Maybe you shouldn't rush to the hospital in the middle of the night-it could affect your life with Miss Molina. You really don't mind it?"

Leonel sensed the underlying message in her words.

He didn't try to explain anything. He just said, “Text me the address. I'll be there as soon as I can."

Soon after he hung up, Leonel got a message from Alexis.

She had sent him the address of the hospital.

After he saw the message, Leonel began to wear his clothes. Due to the inconvenience of his injured leg, it took him another ten minutes before he finally got downstairs.

Even though it was late, there was still someone in the hall. It was Hester.

Seeing Leonel in fresh clothes, she immediately got up and asked him, “Mr. Douglas, are you going out? Does it have something to do with Miss Fowler?"

Leonel stopped in his tracks and looked down at her.

She had been seated on the sofa watching TV. In fact, there were a lot of smacks on the coffee table before her. Leonel immediately figured that these snacks had not been bought by the servants because he never ate such things.

Another obvious fact was that Hester was wearing a sexy silk nightgown.

All in all, she was acting like she was the owner of the mansion.

As far as Leonel was concerned, she had crossed her boundaries and it was more than he could tolerate. But Hester seemed to be oblivious to the fact that her behavior was improper. "Mr. Douglas, last I checked, you don't like her anymore," she said with a frown, referring to Alexis. “In fact, calling you out at this late hour without minding your health is a clear sign that she doesn't care about you at all."

These words angered and irritated Leonel to no end.

His eyes hardened and his grip on the stair railing became so tight that his knuckles turned white.

Hester had been under his employ for a long time.

As far as she was concerned, Leonel was a charming man. But she always regretted the fact that one of his legs was crippled and might never fully recover.

Yet, at this moment, she was still taken aback by his handsomeness.
