Chapter: 4389
She had never seen him look so handsome before. It was almost as if the Light in the house shone bright on him and made him look finer.

Her heart began to beat faster, and her body trembled.

But Leonel slowly came down the stairs and stood in front of her.

"Mr. Douglas, why are you looking at me like that? Did I say something wrong?" Hester asked in a trembling voice.

She had a strong desire for Leonel. She no longer minded the fact that he was disabled. After all, he was incredibly handsome.

But right now, he was acting strange and it made her worried.

“Miss Molina, you've probably forgotten yourself," Leonel said with a sneer. "The contract clearly states that you live here as a member of staff. But what are you doing right now? How can you sit in my living room, eating snacks in pajamas? Are you trying to act like my place is your home or something?"

Hester's face turned red when she heard this and she quickly came to her own defense.

"Well, I just felt no one was using the living room here. Besides, that single room in the dormitory is too small for me. But Leonel was unmoved and simply retorted, “You're just an ordinary employee, not my family member."

Hester wanted to say something in response, but as she opened her mouth to speak, Leonel raised his hand to silence her. "You're fired he said in a decisive tone."

Hester was shocked. "Mr. Douglas, are you... are you driving me away because I show up in your living room?" she asked in disbelief.

"I fire you because you crossed the line," Leonel said straightforwardly.

At this point, one of the servants came in, having heard sounds of argument. Leonel promptly ordered the servant, "Miss Molina has been dismissed. Call Noreen so she can come deal with it. Oh, and make sure to thoroughly check her suitcase before she Leaves."

Hester felt insulted and she retorted in anger, “What's that supposed to mean? Do you think I'm a thief?"

"Yes!" Leonel said straightforwardly with a meaning glance at the snacks on the table.

Then he turned and walked away.

Hester remained in the Living room, filled with impotent rage. She had dressed in a seductive manner, and stayed in the living room, hoping that Leonel would notice her. But instead, he ended up firing her.

She had always believed that men only cared about appearance and constantly sought a novel experience, so she just couldn't understand why Leonel only cared about Alexis.

About half an hour later, Noreen came in. Hester, who was usually quite arrogant, now began to complain to Noreen, "I've always been dedicated to Mr. Douglas. Everything I've done has been for his own good. Noreen, please talk to him for me. I promise I won't eat here ever again."

Noreen looked at the snacks on the table and then at Hester's attire.
