Chapter: 4491
As Olivia approached, Raphael Looked up quietly, their eyes meeting.
It turned out Olivia's seat was next to his. Just as she was about to ask another passenger to switch seats, a flight attendant discreetly slipped a note into Raphael's pocket.
Olivia paused, taken aback.
Raphael noticed her reaction, withdrew the note, and handed it back to the stewardess, stating coolly, "Sorry, I can't accept this. My wife is right here."
The stewardess apologized, mistaking Olivia for Raphael's wife.
After the flight attendant retreated, Olivia took her seat and stated flatly, "Don't talk nonsense, Raphael. I have nothing to do with you."
Leafing through a magazine, Raphael responded nonchalantly, “Come on, it's not a big deal! Don't take it so seriously."
Olivia's lips curled into a slight smile as she suggested, "Why not bring Sharon along?"
Curiosity flickered within her.
Considering that Leonel had extended an invitation for the wedding, Olivia pondered why Raphael would arrive solo when he was engaged to Sharon.
After posing the query, she found herself not really interested in his answer. So she just reached for a blanket, preparing to doze off.
She had neither the desire nor the intention to engage in further conversation with Raphael, as their relationship had long ceased to exist. There was no point in stirring up old emotions. Avoiding potential conflict and his cutting remarks was her aim.
With that thought in mind, Olivia shut her eyes.
As the plane started its glide down the runway, it trembled slightly.
Raphael, unable to focus on the magazine any longer, set it aside and quietly turned his gaze to the person seated next to him.
They occupied adjacent seats.
This might have been the first time Raphael found himself in such close proximity to Olivia after all these years. And so, side by side, they remained seated for several hours.
Olivia opted for a makeup-free look, her long, black locks cascading casually and partially veiling her face.
Her lips appeared soft and delicate as she reclined in her seat.
With her sleeves rolled up, her arms were exposed, triggering memories in Raphael's mind. He recalled that night vividly, where Olivia had wrapped her arms around his neck, her occasional whimpers echoing in his memory.
