Chapter: 4492
Abruptly, he averted his gaze, reminding himself not to dwell on the past.
Olivia initially feigned sleep but soon drifted into actual slumber.
The stewardess approached with beverages, prompting Raphael to decline in a hushed tone as he glanced at Olivia. "No, thanks," he murmured.
The flight attendant stole a quick glance at Olivia before continuing down the aisle with the beverage cart.
Raphael leaned back on his seat.
With no intention of falling asleep during the flight, Raphael ordered a cup of coffee before settling into silence. But his gaze kept returning to the person beside him. Just like he remembered, Olivia slept soundly.
What a heartless thing!
Raphael cursed under his breath and then reached for the magazine, using it to cover his own face so he wouldn't keep stealing glances at Olivia.
Several hours later, the plane touched down safely.
When Olivia opened her eyes, she found the seat beside her vacant, indicating Raphael's avoidance. Following the crowd, she took her luggage and got off the plane.
The wedding ceremony was scheduled for the following morning.
Elva had suggested an evening bachelorette party for Alexis.
Olivia hadn't crossed paths with her for quite some time.
She heard that Elva had been involved with a guy for a couple of years; their public displays of affection were undeniable back then.
However, they seemed to part ways recently.
Changing into a nice dress, Olivia made her way to the venue located under the ground floor of the hotel.
It was a lavishly decorated bar, reserved exclusively for hotel guests.
Upon entering, she immediately recognized many familiar faces in the crowd.
Although it was supposed to be a bachelorette party, they had male company; and Leonel, along with Alexis, seemed to be surrounded by a throng of people. Luckily, Alexis was not one to shy away from attention. And as for Leonel, he was even bolder than his soon-to-be bride.
Elva settled into a seat in the corner and ordered a bottle of hard Liquor.
