Chapter: 4550
“I appreciate your sense of humor, Mr. Douglas," Sharon replied with a forced smile.

Raphael remained indifferent throughout, knowing well that Leonel would wait for him to sign the contract, even if it took a month.

After all, Leonel had also invested a considerable amount of time and effort into the project. It was inconceivable for him to simply let it go.

During the contract signing, Sharon entered with two cups of coffee.

As she set down the tray, Raphael uttered flatly, “Thanks for the coffee. You may go now."

Sharon was momentarily taken aback by his words.

She wondered if she was being overly sensitive. Lately, Raphael had been giving her the cold shoulder and excluding her from major projects, which seemed like an attempt to distance her.

This left Sharon feeling anxious.

However, with Leonel present, she had no option but to comply with Raphael's directive.

Once she left, only Leonel and Raphael remained in the office room.

Neither had any issues with the cooperation agreement after thoroughly reviewing the contract- at least Leonel did.

There were five copies in total, and Raphael signed his name first and handed them to Leonel.

Leonel followed suit, and just as he was about to sign the last copy, he suddenly burst into Laughter.

He had just noticed that Raphael had signed Olivia's name on the last copy.

Leonel chuckled. "Mr. Jones, when did Olivia become the owner of your company? Was Olivia aware of this? No wonder Miss Yeats seemed so upset earlier. Now I understand."

Passing the contract to Raphael, Leonel noticed he felt rather awkward as he glanced over it.

Standing up, Raphael apologized, “I'm sorry about this. I'll have my assistant prepare a new copy."

Hearing this, Leonel leaned back on the sofa, patiently awaiting the updated contract. Meanwhile, he casually mentioned, “By the way, did you know Olivia just had a baby girl? Such a precious little thing! She's just adorable."

With a sigh, he added, “If Dylan hadn't had the accident, he would have been a wonderful father."

His words felt Like daggers piercing Raphael's heart.

The baby girl was born without a father, but here he was, the girl's real father, powerless and couldn't do anything for her and her mother. Sensing Raphael's silence, Leonel added with a faint smile, “Life is filled with regrets, wouldn't you agree, Mr. Jones?"

In response, Raphael smiled bitterly.

Upon signing the contract, Leonel left.

Observing him leave the office, Noreen dutifully brought over the wheelchair.
