Chapter: 4578
The next moment, Sharon burst into laughter. "You're still protecting her even now? Don't worry. I'm not going to do anything to her. I know my place. She is the daughter of a rich family, and now she's even in charge of Dylan's company. I would be no match for her. Still, it's kind of a surprise that you didn't get back with her after Dylan had been gone for so long."

With that, Sharon turned around and left.

She had completely moved on. She wasn't even the least bit depressed now. Things were going well for her since she had gotten her fair share of compensation.

Sharon had money, and she had been enjoying herself traveling from place to place. She had even met someone and was ready to settle down.

Time passed, but Dylan did not come back.

Spring had almost ended. At the cusp of summer, there was still no trace of him.

As the season continued to flow forward, so did the anxiousness in Olivia's heart.

Not a day had passed when she didn't miss him. But more than that, she was worried about his health and his Living conditions. Her family also tried looking for him in secret, but he managed to evade the investigators.

At the beginning of June, an envelope arrived, with a key and an address inside of it.

She was familiar with the place. It was a villa in a good location.

Her heart was pounding as she clutched the key in her hand. She took out her mobile phone and immediately called her secretary. "Check if Dylan has a property in..."

The secretary immediately checked and got back to her in less than five minutes. "Yes, he does. He bought the villa many years ago. He was still an agent for your sister-in-law at that time."

Olivia hung up.

She held the key tightly, a lump forming in her throat. Laura must have sent the key to her.

Not wanting to risk an argument with Edwin, Laura secretly sent it.

Olivia drove straight to the location.

Half an hour later, her car rolled to a stop in front of the villa.

The wooden door was half closed. Olivia pushed the door open and walked through a small lawn that led to the door of a delicate house.

A dog ran out of the house, wagging its tail affectionately before letting out a friendly bark.

Then, a man's voice came from inside. "Gina, is someone there?" the voice asked.

There was no way Olivia could ever mistake that voice.

A few moments later, Dylan came out of the door.

He was immediately stunned. Tears fell freely from Olivia's eyes, but she didn't make a sound. Instead, she squeezed out a smile and said in a trembling voice, “If I didn't know Gina was a dog, I would have assumed you didn't come home for those two years because you've met someone else."

She didn't take her gaze away from him for a second, even if tears kept running down her face.
