Chapter: 4590
“WiLL you get back with Raphael?" he suddenly asked her.
Olivia's heart sank when she heard this.
The sun was shining on her face, making her look more delicate than usual. After a long moment of silence, she finally replied, "Maybe."
Dylan stared at her for a long while. Then he grabbed a pen and signed the divorce papers. "You can continue to stay in the apartment. Besides, those properties under my name are...”
“No, thanks," Olivia quickly cut him off. "That apartment is yours and will always be yours. The only reason I've lived there is only because the place is close to the company. But I won't be needing it anymore, since I'll be handing the company back to you."
But she was not really telling the truth about the apartment.
The real reason she had been living in it all along was because she had been missing him and waiting for him to return.
Eventually, he did return. But unfortunately, he didn't want her anymore and had instead moved in with someone else.
He knew how much Gina loved him and he still continued to keep her by his side. Olivia automatically considered this as a betrayal of their marriage vows.
Dylan used to be very serious when it came to marriage.
He had once said that he would never get too close with any woman if it made Olivia uncomfortable.
Perhaps he just mo Longer loved Olivia, that was why he was Living with this new woman without caring whether or not she would feel comfortable with it.
But still, Olivia was grateful to him. At least, both of them used to be so happy in the past. Maybe it was finally time to let go and move on.
Since she had nothing left to say about the apartment issue, Olivia turned and walked over to where the documents were placed. She scratched what Dylan had added and then signed her name on the document.
After signing, she stared at the agreement for a long time. Then she said in a low voice, "That's it. My lawyer will handle the rest. By Monday, 10 a.m., I will be at the company waiting for you so we can do the company handover."
The whole time, Dylan kept his eyes fixed on her without blinking.
But Olivia ignored him and turned to leave.
But just then, the nanny showed up at the door with Leyla in her arms.
The little girl was almost 20 months old. She looked so cute and was pretty much a mini version of Olivia. The only difference was her slightly curly hair.
Leyla had seen photos of Dylan that Olivia had shown her. So, the moment she caught sight of him standing there, she wobbled towards him and hugged his leg, happily calling him "Daddy".
With her big innocent eyes staring up at him, Dylan couldn't help but feel touched.
Already, he could feel a lump in his throat and tears stinging at his eyes.
Back when Olivia was pregnant, he often clung to her belly to feel the movement of the baby. They were both so eagerly looking forward to the day the baby would be born. And now, that same baby was standing right in front of him.
He bent down so he could pick her up. But Olivia quickly took Leyla away before he could touch her.
