Chapter: 4636
Thinking of this, she leaned over and gently patted Dolly's head.

The dog let out a low moan, almost like it was complaining about Dylan's absence.

On Leyla's birthday, Mark and Cecilia flew in from Czanch specifically for the occasion.

In addition to celebrating Leyla's special day, they wanted to talk to Olivia about her personal life. They'd heard that Dylan and Olivia had gotten back together, but there hadn't been any recent news.

Edwin wouldn't share anything with them, and eventually, Laura couldn't keep quiet under Mark's persistent questions.

After hearing what Laura said, Mark grew concerned about Olivia.

He then told Cecilia, “Find some men for her. It doesn't matter if they end up getting married or not; it's better than her being alone."

He continued angrily, “She was widowed because of Dylan, and now he's left her to care for another woman! Even if they love each other, their relationship won't last."

Cecilia agreed with him.

So, she took the opportunity to ask around and then set Olivia up with a promising young man.

He was a professor at a well-known university in Duefron, had studied abroad for several years, and was handsome.

He was divorced but had no children from that marriage.

His ex-wife had wanted to stay abroad, while he insisted on returning home. After living separately for five years, they eventually decided to divorce. His family had business ties with the Evans family, and his hometown was also Czanch. Given these factors, Cecilia believed he would be a good match for Olivia.

In fact, his mother was friends with Cecilia and had mentioned the idea to her more than once.

Cecilia hadn't responded to the suggestion directly, curious about how Olivia would react.

She expected Olivia to hesitate, but after glancing at the man's photo, Olivia said softly, "I'd like to meet him in person. If the first impression isn't too bad, it's worth a try."

Cecilia worried that Olivia was only doing this to please her.

Olivia took a sip from her coffee cup and said quietly, "Mom, don't worry about me. I'm serious. I need to move on, right?"

She set down her cup and bid Cecilia farewell.

Later that afternoon, she planned to take Leyla to an early education center. After getting into the car and preparing to start the engine, a message popped up on her phone.

She checked it and felt tears welling up as she read Dylan's message "I'm back, Olivia." Just those few words struck her deeply.

Olivia kept her head down and stared at the text for ages.

Ever since the accident, despite everyone said Dylan was dead, she'd been waiting to hear from him, hoping he'd magically come back to life. And he did.

And this time he had vanished for a whole month. It was only now that he had finally reached out.
