Chapter: 4640
It was clear this was a blind date- the place had "romantic" written all over it.
“Let's go," Dylan said, trying to sound calm as he stared at Olivia.
Olivia looked up, meeting his gaze.
Olivia's eyes were a bit teary but she kept her cool. After all, she hadn't done anything wrong.
Her blind date just stood there, watching the scene quietly.
Eventually, he didn't say a word. He paid the bill and left without making a fuss.
After the man left, Dylan slid into his seat at the table. He stared at Olivia and asked in a gentle voice, "Was that a blind date?"
Olivia met his gaze.
After a moment, she nodded and said coolly, "Yeah, it was. He seems like a good guy."
Dylan clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white. He tried to stay calm.
Then he stood up, grabbed Olivia's wrist, and said, “Let's get out of here!"
Olivia thought it was perhaps time to talk.
She shrugged off his grip and replied, "Fine!"
Neither of them wanted to cause a scene in public, so they didn't argue in the cafe.
They got into Dylan's car, and he glanced at Olivia before hitting the gas.
When the car stopped, Olivia noticed they were at that old apartment building.
The place they used to call home.
From the passenger seat, she said flatly, "I don't want to go inside that apartment again. We can talk here."
But Dylan was already unbuckling his seatbelt and getting out. Olivia wasn't going to play along but Dylan grabbed her wrist and pulled her toward the building anyway.
At the door, Dylan reached under the mat to grab the hidden key.
As Dylan opened the door, Olivia saw that everything was just as she remembered, except it was covered in dust.
But there was no time for nostalgia. The next second, Dylan pushed Olivia against the door and kissed her like he had something to prove.
Olivia resisted but Dylan gripped her chin, forcing her to accept his kiss.
He held the kiss for a long time but Olivia stayed cold and still.
