Chapter: 4649
Olivia closed her eyes and said nothing, tears trickling down her cheeks.
Following that, she proceeded to take a shower.
When she walked out of the bathroom, Dylan had got the breakfast ready. Holding a dry towel, he gently wiped Olivia's body. Unable to resist, he leaned down and kissed her on the shoulder.
"I can handle the towel myself," Olivia murmured softly.
Ignoring her request, Dylan held her close, the towel and his embrace enveloping her. His shirt dampened by the water, he pressed a kiss to the back of her ear, whispering, "Your clothes are in the wardrobe. Go get changed, and we'll have breakfast together."
Olivia remained silent upon hearing his words.
Throughout, Olivia had maintained an indifferent demeanor. Seated at the dining table, she felt compelled to address Dylan.
“Last night... it didn't mean anything! Don't assume we'll reconcile just because of it."
Dylan was spreading butter on bread as she spoke.
Upon hearing this, Dylan's gaze locked onto Olivia as he queried, “If you don't want to reconcile, why had sex with me? We made love four times, and you seemed to enjoy every second of it."
"In that situation, I hardly had any choice. You know I was intoxicated. You brought me here deliberately, leaving me no escape. Our one-night stand changes nothing. We have numerous issues between us. There are plenty of men out there, none of whom you're particularly unique compared to," Olivia stated calmly.
“But you did enjoy it last night, didn't you?" Dylan scrutinized her.
Olivia replied coolly, "You're correct. I did enjoy the sex."
Setting down the butter knife, Dylan wiped his hands with a tissue.
"In that case, you wouldn't object to the idea of satisfaction to us both when the opportunity arises," he remarked casually.
"I do mind!"
Placing the milk on the table, Olivia continued, “Thank you for your service last night, Mr. Wright. I'm leaving now!"
Dylan grabbed her wrist and said sourly, “Why the hurry? Another blind date you're rushing to?"
Olivia sneered in response.
"Yes, you're right! My schedule's packed. Do you think you can intrude on my privacy after our night together, Dylan? Please refrain from appearing anywhere near me again!"
Her words infuriated him.
Dylan wished he could hold Olivia tightly and make love to her passionately again, hoping it would silence her sarcastic remarks.
Just like the night before, she was so sweet when she had been so compliant with him.
Yet, when sober, Olivia seemed like a different person.
