Chapter: 4712
She said in a low voice, "Your father and I love both you and Edwin dearly. And we love Laura too."

Cecilia had her reservations when Laura and Edwin just got married.

However, years had passed, and she had come to see Laura as her own daughter. They had grown into a true family.

As they spoke, the car smoothly entered the villa.

The following evening, Duefron's high society gathered for the charity banquet.

Besides Olivia, Cecilia also insisted Laura attend with them. She exclaimed, "You spend all day helping with the kids' homework or attending to your husband. You barely have a moment for yourself!"

Laura blushed at this.

She couldn't even bring herself to look at her husband. Edwin caught her eye and smiled. "You deserve a chance to relax! I'll be there with you!"

Laura finally decided to attend the charity banquet.

Olivia remarked, “Laura always does exactly as Edwin wishes.”

The black Limousine pulled up to a stop. The hotel's doorman approached to open the door, and the Evans family alighted. Cecilia walked arm in arm with Laura, while Olivia was alongside Edwin. As they approached the entrance, they encountered someone familiar.

It was Dylan.

He was in the smoking area near the entrance, dressed in a black suit and smoking a cigarette. It appeared he was waiting for someone.

Upon seeing the Evans family, he quickly extinguished his cigarette and gazed intently at Olivia.

She was visibly pregnant. Her options for attire were limited, but she had chosen a light-colored dress with delicate embroidery that gracefully accentuated her figure and added to her charm. Her hair was styled up, enhancing her elegance and softness.

Dylan watched her for a long time.

Olivia noticed him but chose to ignore his presence.

Edwin approached and said dryly, "Mr. Wright, you seem to be everywhere! I thought you were overseas taking care of that woman."

Edwin was so mean to Dylan.

But Dylan couldn't respond. He quietly greeted Cecilia, though it was clear it wasn't the right moment for pleasantries, and she chose to disregard him. Seeing Cecilia's indifference and Edwin's displeasure, Laura felt it was best not to engage with Dylan.

"Let's head inside," Olivia suggested.

Just as they were about to move on, Dylan grasped Olivia's wrist.

Now that he finally got the chance to speak with her, he couldn't let it slip. “Olivia, we need to talk!"

"We have nothing to talk about."
