Chapter: 4821
She had lost interest in romantic relationships.
Cecilia had even taken her to see a doctor. The doctor mentioned that Olivia shouldn't have such issues at her age but she also noted problems with her menstrual cycle...
Maybe this was why she had been so indifferent to Dylan lately.
During their conversation, a servant called out from outside the door, "Miss Evans, Mr. Wright, dinner is served."
Olivia fretted over Leyla, who was snoozing away.
She mentioned, "I'll just eat in my room."
The servant inquired, “What about Mr. Wright?"
Dylan, torn between wanting to be with Olivia and not wishing to annoy her, couldn't just do as he pleased.
After some pondering, he sauntered to the dining area for supper.
Post-dinner, he cradled little Eason. The tyke, who was just a few months old, seemed constantly hungry.
Olivia angled Eason away from Dylan and breastfed him, showing her back to him.
Knowing she preferred privacy at such moments, Dylan plopped onto the couch, scrolling through his phone.
His eyes lingered on the news about Raphael.
Truth be told, Olivia's words rang true. Raphael had tied the knot with someone else and became a father. Why was Dylan still dwelling on the past?
Perhaps it was the guilt as well as fear that gnawed at him.
With Olivia's indifference towards him, Dylan's suspicions spiked whenever another man got close, especially Raphael. He couldn't do anything about it though.
Once Eason was content, Dylan held him and grumbled about Olivia's lack of affection towards him.
But how could a little baby grasp what he meant?
With his wide eyes blinking, Eason gazed at his father. Olivia emerged after straightening her clothes.
"Did you go on a blind date last week?" Dylan asked casually.
Olivia nodded. "Yes."
He didn't pry further. It made him uneasy. But he also knew that since things weren't peachy between him and Olivia, her parents would keep setting her up with guys. She couldn't turn down their kindness every time. Even if she didn't take those blind dates seriously, it still got under Dylan's skin.
Dylan didn't like the idea of her dolling up for some stranger.
Seeing him about to dig up the past again, Olivia changed the subject. “When are you heading back to Duefron? Don't you have some business to attend to there?"
