Chapter: 4826
Dylan nodded and headed to the bathroom.

When he arrived, he found Olivia already washing her face.

He felt sorry for her, but he gently rubbed her nose and said softly, “Look at you. Are you going to finish dinner or not, you poor thing?"

Olivia shook her head, wary of revealing too much in front of her mother.

Dylan remained silent, taking her hand as they left together.

They entered Mark's study. The small tent was still there, but Olivia had outgrown it and could no longer fit inside. Dylan sat down on the floor next to Olivia.

He urged her to share stories from her childhood.

Olivia, however, declined to delve into it.

Dylan turned to look at her and spoke softly. "If you don't feel like sharing your story, that's okay. Just listen to mine, alright? Let me tell you about what happened when I was younger."

Olivia muttered with discontent, "You want me to listen to your ex-love story?"

Dylan chuckled, shaking his head. “You silly girl! Don't be ridiculous. I've already forgotten all about those things."

Then he began to reminisce about the old days when Olivia and he had just met. Back then, Olivia was very young but bold; she had the courage to touch Dylan in the swimming pool.

Dylan took her hands, wrapping them around his waist.

Then he said in a hushed tone, “Olivia, whether you forgive me or not, I'll always be by your side."

Olivia remained silent, resting her head on his shoulder.

She wasn't in the mood to contemplate a future with Dylan.

Dylan turned to kiss her briefly.

Meanwhile, Olivia simply gazed at Dylan, allowing him his moment. At that moment, a voice interrupted them from the doorway. “Are you finished with the lovey-dovey stuff? Eason's been crying for a while now. I reckon he's hungry. If you're not ready for the new mission, your mother and I can take care of the little guy for you. I figure I can stick around for at least another ten years."

Olivia's throat tightened at his words. "That's enough, Dad!"

Mark was taken aback. “What's the matter, sweetheart?"

Turning to Dylan, he inquired, "Did you upset her again?"

With no one else present, Dylan spoke frankly. “I've seen the test report."

Hearing that, Mark asked in confusion, "What report are you talking about?"

“Are you planning to keep it from us?" Dylan retrieved the report from his pocket and passed it to Mark.
