Chapter: 4827
Mark looked at the report and remarked, "There seems to be a misunderstanding here. The age is incorrect. This Mark Evans guy in this report is only thirty-seven years old. How could that be me?"

Dylan was speechless at Mark's response.

Olivia was equally stunned.

Olivia snapped back to reality, shooting Dylan an angry glance.

"You're unbelievable!" With that, she stormed out of the study.

Dylan retrieved the report and read it again. Then, with a wry smile, he remarked, "You're quite something, indeed!"

Mark waved dismissively. “What's all this about? I don't understand.”

Watching Mark leave, Dylan felt a sense of relief wash over him.

He walked to the window and glanced out at the swimming pool. Then, without hesitation, he removed his shirt and suit pants. With only his underwear on, he dove into the pool and began to swim.

Edwin crouched down by the pool and teased, "So, are you trying to flaunt your physique, buddy? After that mix-up with my dad, no amount of working out is going to fix things. I think that Olivia won't talk to you for at least three months. Tough break!"

Dylan shot back, "If you found the report, you'd probably wet yourself and cry like a baby right then and there."

Edwin, feeling offended, kicked him back into the pool.

But Dylan didn't seem to mind at all. For one thing, he liked swimming. For another, being young and vigorous, he needed an outlet for his energy. Without being able to be intimate with Olivia, he had to find a way to tire himself out.

After his swim, Dylan returned to the house in the middle of the night. Usually, Olivia took care of Leyla while he looked after Eason at night.

As soon as he approached the bed, Olivia woke up.

Glancing at Dylan, she said with disgust, “What's gotten into you? If the servants saw you walking around like this, they might be scared off. Plus, it's winter now-you might catch a cold.”

Dylan sat down on the edge of the bed, grabbed Olivia's hand, and placed it on his thigh. “Check it out," he said. "I'm not cold at all."

Withdrawing her hand, Olivia asked him to go back to his room.

Dylan bent over to pick up Eason from the bed and took the opportunity to kiss Olivia on the cheek. “You liked it when we were in the study, didn't you?" he asked.

"Any man can do what you just did," Olivia said in a low voice.

"But I won't let any other man approach you," Dylan retorted, his anger visible in his eyes.

He wanted to say more to her, but he was worried that their son would catch a cold like that, so he quickly took him away to his crib. After watching him leave, Olivia sat on the edge of the bed and gently touched Leyla's sleeping face.

Frankly, she was not trying to test Dylan.

She had actually forgiven him. Even though he did hurt her, he also saved her life. As far as she was concerned, his merits offset his faults. So she would let him stay and spend time with her family.
