Chapter: 4846
Dylan gently pinched her waist and snorted. “Want to try me? Olivia, it's not really a wise move to provoke a man like this!"
Worried he might actually act on his words, Olivia whispered, "Calm down. You'll wake the kids!"
After Olivia finished talking, Dylan held her hand softly.
In the dim light, he remained silent, his gaze fixed on her.
It was quiet.
They could hear the rain tapping on the window.
Later, Dylan put his arm out, letting Olivia rest her head on it.
Leyla, with her hands cradling her face, nestled into his embrace and lost in a peaceful dreamland.
Ever since giving birth, Olivia had struggled with insomnia. However, tonight, lulled by the rain and the rhythmic breathing of her companion, she enjoyed a restful sleep. When she woke up, the clock already read eight in the morning.
"Mom's still asleep," Leyla whispered to Myrna outside the door.
Olivia smiled as she lay on a soft pillow, watching Dylan feed their son.
She felt her milk flowing and asked Dylan to bring Eason over, saying, “Let me feed him. He doesn't like infant formula.”
Dylan held their son and smiled, replying, “He'll have to manage with it. You were sleeping."
Olivia looked at him.
“I'll be outside. Just let me know when you're finished." Dylan placed the baby in her arms before stepping out.
“Alright," she replied.
When Dylan left the room, she unbuttoned her shirt and began feeding Eason. The little boy was eager and hungry, yet he remained obedient.
He held onto his mother tightly, gazing up at her with his big eyes.
His forehead was broad, just like Cecilia's.
Olivia leaned down and planted a kiss on his forehead.
She felt a surge of happiness within her. Truth be told, Olivia hadn't endured much hardship since giving birth to Eason. Dylan took care of the baby most of the time, while also impeccably dressed up to impress her each day. Reflecting on this, she couldn't suppress her smile.
How endearingly childish he could be!
Upon entering, Dylan spotted her gentle smile.
Unable to resist, he sat beside her, reaching out to touch Eason's head before turning to her. “What's amusing you?" he inquired, looking into her eyes.
