Chapter: 4845
Olivia found Dylan unexpectedly annoying!

After parking the car, he even asked to sleep in her room to improve their relationship. As they negotiated, Mark cleared his throat and said, "What's the matter? You sent the child away, huh? Dylan, have you got time for a game of chess?"

Dylan was at a loss for words.

After a moment, he responded respectfully, “Sure, I'd love to."

Olivia got out and held Mark's arm as they walked into the house together. Dylan quietly followed. Mark suddenly asked, “Are you two back together?"

"Yes, but we're not getting married," Olivia replied softly.

To her surprise, Mark didn't object. He smiled faintly and said, “Smart move! That guy needs a wake-up call! When a man does something stupid, don't blow your top or rush to get a divorce. Let him sweat it out, and make him work hard while supporting the family, waiting for that day you decide to forgive him. That's the Lesson!"

Olivia laughed. “Dad, are you speaking from experience?"

Mark shrugged it off. "No! Your mom's crazy about me! She'd never treat me like that!"

Despite the tough talk, Cecilia was the only woman he had ever loved.

He felt blessed to have married Cecilia.

They'd had two beautiful children together and enjoyed a happy life for decades.

After returning home, Olivia and the kids went to bed early.

In the middle of the night, Dylan sneaked into her room. Eason was asleep in the cot, and Leyla lay peacefully in Olivia's arms, clutching her stuffed toy.

Dylan kissed Leyla on the cheek, finding her too adorable to resist.

Then, he climbed into bed and took Olivia's hand, knowing she was still awake.

Leyla instinctively snuggled closer to him.

Kids naturally sought warmth and Dylan's body was like a furnace.

As he held Leyla, he felt deeply content.

Even though he had Eason, his bond with Leyla was special.

She had once carried his family name, and he felt both affection and sorrow for her.

Olivia just looked at him quietly.

Dylan turned to her and said, "Your dad is full of energy! After an hour of chess, he wanted a few more rounds! Luckily, your mother came to the study and made him go to bed. He must've done it on purpose. I'm worn out!"

With a faint smile, Olivia teased softly, “Shame on you! Can't even keep up with my old man?"
