Chapter: 4877
He gently pushed her shoulders, kissing her as he awkwardly reached into his coat pocket for a condom.

At that moment, the door swung open.

Elva stood at the doorway, catching sight of them making out on the sofa. She was momentarily taken aback. Despite having ended their relationship and acting indifferent, seeing him with another woman pained her deeply.

She was both saddened and shocked.

The sound of the door opening left Luis frozen. When he looked back, he was met with Elva's sorrowful gaze.

He had been with her for two years but had never seen such a pained expression on her face.

She looked incredibly vulnerable, tears brimming in her eyes...

Yet, Elva kept her composure. With a heavy heart, she said, “I'm sorry to interrupt. I'll just grab my ID and leave."

With that, she went into the main bedroom to retrieve her ID.

Just as she was about to exit the room with her ID in hand, Luis reached out and grabbed her hand.

Luis hurried to clarify, "Elva, this isn't what it looks like!"

Her lips trembled. Looking up, she forced a smile and said to him, “Luis, you don't need to explain anything. Isn't it normal for you to be intimate with that little minx of yours? You apologized when we ended things. I don't need another apology now. I'm not going to waste more time on you. You're not worth it."

Elva pulled her hand away, turned, and walked out.

She was a proud woman, determined not to show her vulnerability to him or the other woman. She would not let them see her cry!

Just before she could leave, Holley, draped in Luis’ shirt, taunted her while acting all timid and innocent, “Miss Fowler, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to take your boyfriend.”

Elva stopped.

She had no desire to lash out at this woman, but Holley's words ignited her anger.

She grabbed a cup of water from the table, strode over, and poured it on Holley, who screamed. Luis came out of the bedroom and frowned, "Stop it, Elva!"

Elva scoffed. "I hope you two stick together forever!"

Then she turned and walked away.
