Chapter: 4929
With her emotions mixed Elva bit her lip and whispered, "Yes. I don't love you anymore!"

She spoke out of anger more than anything else.

In a tender gesture, Luis kissed the tip of her nose gently, a stark contrast to their past interactions.

Previously, he had seen her merely as an attractive woman. Now, he saw her as his beloved, the depth of his feelings evident in the compassionate gaze he fixed on her. As he kissed her, Elva's heart raced, unfamiliar emotions surging within her- feelings she had never experienced before.

After Luis kissed her, Elva tried to push him away with a kick.

Surprisingly, Luis caught her ankle gently and with a hoarse whisper, praised her, "Good girl!"

Elva was shocked, convinced Luis had lost his senses.

He simply smiled warmly and caressed her face.

Regardless of their disputes, Luis now always seemed to find Elva endearing. This was definitely something new for him.

He remembered his mother's words about love-this intense, unexplainable affection was surely it.

Reflecting on his past crush on Holley, Luis realized those feelings paled in comparison to what he felt with Elva. With Holley, comfort was fleeting, but with Elva, she was always on his mind.

It was clear to him-he was deeply in love with Elva even before he realized it.

Lost in his thoughts, Luis was abruptly pulled back to reality by Everett's loud call. "Did you hear me, Luis?"

Over a sip of tea, Everett chastised, “Everyone is scrambling to fix your messes, and you're just sitting there daydreaming?"

Luis responded nonchalantly, leaning back, "Come on, Dad. If you hadn't been so negligent, none of this would have fallen on the Mendez Group."

Everett's cheeks flushed with embarrassment but he quickly retorted, “Well, don't you want to marry Elva?"

"Of course, I do!" Luis answered softly, his gaze tender as he thought of Elva.

He was resolute in his desire to spend his life with her.

Everett remained quiet for a moment before speaking.

“Luis, you've never been a cause for concern, surpassing your peers academically and professionally. However, love and marriage are uniquely complex, not mere formalities. We hope you genuinely find happiness, not just go through the motions or feel distant in your marriage."
