Chapter: 1543
With that thought in mind, she staggered towards her car in a daze.
Judy swiftly stopped her, asking urgently, “What's going on? Where are you off to?"
"The wedding venue! I have to see it for myself. I don't believe it!"
Ariana exclaimed, her tone bordering on hysteria.
Judy was worried. Ariana was evidently emotionally unstable at this point. Letting her depart like this would surely lead to something regrettable.
But Ariana remained steadfast, refusing to be dissuaded. Left with no other choice, Judy could only rush after Ariana and hop into the car with her.
The next instant, Ariana pressed down hard on the accelerator, and the car engine roared as the car sped away.
In the preparation room at the wedding venue.
Donned in a bespoke suit, Holden sat on the sofa, his eyes closed as he rested.
Just then, the door swung open, and in walked Zayden. He glanced at Holden and said, “Holden, congratulations! You are finally getting married to the girl you love. She looks magnificent today."
His words were accompanied by a sneer, and his eyes were filled with mockery and contempt as he spoke.
Holden was unbothered by Zayden's sarcastic tone. “Thank you," he said as he slowly opened his eyes.
Having spoken, Holden disregarded Zayden, paying him no further heed.
At that moment, Holden's phone buzzed. He fumbled about his pocket and retrieved his phone. Glancing at the screen, he saw it was a call from the South Park Tailor Shop.
Suspecting it might concern the wedding gown, Holden's heart quickened with nervous anticipation. Yet, he managed to maintain a composed facade despite the surge of emotions within.
Fixing Zayden with an icy stare, Holden's voice turned frosty as he said, "I have matters to attend to. If there's nothing else, you may take your leave."
Zayden shrugged and glanced at Holden as if he were a joke. He then turned and left.
Finally being alone in the room, Holden answered the phone. Soon, a voice on the other end inquired, "Sir, I've found the photo that was tucked in the wedding dress. Do you still need it?"
Holden's heart raced, sensing that the truth he sought lay within reach. He subconsciously took a deep breath to calm himself down before answering, "'Yes, please send it over. Thank you."
Moments after ending the call, the caller swiftly forwarded the photo to Holden.
