Chapter: 1545
However, why had he been visiting her in secret? Why wouldn't he let her see him each time he came? And why had she experienced a sense of familiarity when they talked?

There were other details that made Ariana tremble subconsciously.

She had constantly believed it was her own yearning, thinking she was overanalyzing and imagining the resemblance between Holden and Theodore.

But now, she couldn't comprehend why Holden bore an uncanny resemblance to Theodore. She was sad that she had such a realization just as Holden was about to marry Sadie.

If Holden truly had been Theodore, there would have been ample opportunities for him to recognize her. So, why hadn't he? And why was he marrying Sadie now?

Ariana yearned to seek clarity, to grasp the entirety of the situation, and, regardless of the truth, she desired to witness it firsthand.

Her mind swirled with turmoil, fixated solely on Holden. She was determined to find him and get the answer she needed. Fortunately, the streets were rather empty, and every traffic light turned green as she was passing through. She laid down her resolve as she stepped on the accelerator, propelling the car forward and hurtling down the road.

Meanwhile, Judy was in the passenger seat, clutching the seatbelt tightly with one hand while gripping the safety handle with the other.

Her gaze was fixated ahead, hesitant to even blink. Ariana was driving so quickly that Judy feared they might get into a car accident the next minute.

“Ariana, Slow down! Where are you going?" Judy cried out in fear.

Ariana's gaze remained fixed on the road ahead as she said firmly, “I'm going to Holden's wedding."

Judy was suddenly struck by the realization that today was Holden's wedding. Lately, rumors had been swirling around, and she had caught wind of gossip hinting that Holden was about to marry a well-known celebrity.

Judy found herself unable to hinder Ariana's pursuit. She empathized with Ariana's emotions and shared her curiosity to unravel the truth.

She had witnessed how deeply in love Theodore had been with Ariana in the past. If Holden truly was Theodore, how could he not recognize Ariana?

As they drew closer to their destination, Ariana and Judy fell into silence, Ariana's anxiety mounting with each passing moment. However, as they turned a corner, they collided with a white van illegally parked in a blind spot.

Meanwhile, the church bells chimed, and the sound resonated through the air. The pastor stood on the stage, delivering his speech. Holden, standing on the stage, remained stoic and composed, waiting for the ceremony to progress.

Soon, the church doors swung open, and Sadie made her entrance, walking gracefully, adorned in a flawless white wedding gown.

In that instant, Sadie's exuberance overflowed. A radiant and fulfilled smile illuminated her face, unable to be contained any longer.

Stepping slowly into the church, anticipating the admiring gazes and blessings of the guests, Sadie's smile froze abruptly the moment she entered.

The grand church stood empty, void of any guests. Even the music had ceased. Within the solemn space, only Holden and the pastor remained.
