Chapter: 1550
She met Ariana's eyes defiantly, sneering. “Am I wrong? The whole Anderson family perished, and you're the only survivor. Are you a harbinger of doom or what?"
Ariana continued her silent stare for a moment before cutting through the tension. "Who are you exactly?" she asked Sadie.
Sadie hesitated, panic flashing across her face before she composed herself. She was confident Ariana couldn't know her true identity.
But Ariana persisted, demanding, “I asked you, who are you? What do you know about me?"
The public only knew her as a black widow but was oblivious to the fact that she had lost a child.
Annoyed, Sadie crudely replied with a frown, “Everything about you is plastered online. Of course, I knew that!"
"Impossible!" Ariana stated flatly, her gaze unwavering. "Only my closest confidants know I lost a daughter. Who the hell are you? Why do you know that?"
As she spoke, Ariana moved toward Sadie, her bloodied hands reaching out as if to grab her. Sadie let out a panicked shriek and shoved Ariana away.
Ariana, weakened from the recent car crash, stumbled backward, the bleeding wound on her head colliding cruelly with a nearby pillar.
"Ariana!" Judy cried out, rushing forward, but Holden acted faster.
He broke free from Sadie's grip and held Ariana's body in his arms, his face etched with worry. Without a second thought, he dashed toward the exit.
In her dazed state, Ariana gazed hazily at Holden's face. She weakly lifted a hand to touch his cheek, her voice hoarse as she asked, “Who are you... Theodore or Holden?"
Holden felt a pang in his heart. Without hesitation, he softly replied, “I'm both Theodore and Holden."
A feeble, mirthless laugh escaped Ariana's lips, a tear trickling from her eye. "No... You are not him..." she murmured weakly.
Her words trailed off as unconsciousness enveloped her.
"To the hospital, now!" Holden barked urgently at Shawn, rushing toward the car while gently cradling Ariana's body.
Sadie watched the scene unfold, her expression contorted in torment as she let out a heartbreaking wail. "Holden!"
But Holden didn't look back, focused solely on getting Ariana to hospital.
At that moment, a horde of reporters surged into the hall from the other side, expecting to capture details of the wedding. To their surprise, they found only Sadie, crying and distraught on the stage beside an unknown man.
Not recognizing Holden, the reporters assumed the man was the groom.
