Chapter: 1556
That boy is Theodore's child."
"I never doubted her," Holden responded. He pursed his lips in thought. He had an intense feeling for Melon even if he wasn't his biological child. It had never occurred to him, after all these detours, that Melon could possibly be his child!
After a moment of silence, he probed, "Did you know about my identity as Holden before?"
Shaking her head, Judy admitted, "Theodore seldom shared personal matters, and I didn't pry. I only know what I've seen, and I know nothing about his link to the Fredrick family."
As Judy finished, thoughts of the wedding and Sadie crossed her mind, along with the existence of a child between Sadie and Holden.
She sighed deeply.
Even though unaware of the intricacies, she couldn't imagine Ariana easily accepting Theodore marrying another woman and having a child with that woman.
Holden was still thinking about his connection with Theodore when he nodded and stated, “I get it. You can go back now. Don't tell anyone about this."
“I understand." Judy nodded before departing.
Holden was left in the quiet room staring thoughtfully at the wall.
Devin had revealed that five years prior, he had met Ariana as Holden and had worked with Theodore. That didn't make sense, and he couldn't understand why he had two identities.
Holden furrowed his brow, wondering if the Anderson family still held secrets that were not yet exposed.
Alone in his musings, Holden grappled to fathom the situation. He figured he would wait till Ariana woke up to ask her about Theodore and the enigmas encircling him.
Just as he was about to go back to the hospital room, his phone received a message.
“Mr. Fredrick, I've got the information on Theodore and the Anderson family's history, just as you asked."
Holden, puzzled, replied, “Weren't the original records supposed to be dust in the wind, making it a tough nut to crack?"
“We managed to recover a copy using some technical wizardry," the person responded.
Without a second thought, Holden replied, "Okay, send it over."
Moments later, a file landed in his inbox.
When Holden opened it, a picture of Theodore that looked exactly Like him was on the document. Everything about Theodore was the same as him, including the birthdate and the height.
