Chapter: 1636
She then turned around and started to walk away.

Holden caught up with her and said, "Please don't be angry. I didn't do anything inappropriate."

“Okay," Ariana said Lightly.

Holden, eager to make her happy, clung to her hand, acting pitiful.

"If you're not mad, just look at me."

Ariana's demeanor softened slightly, but she quickly changed her expression, glancing at him indifferently.

Holden, however, seemed to sense Ariana's mood improving. Overjoyed, he suddenly lifted her up.

Ariana let out a shriek, a mix of amusement and annoyance in her voice, as she playfully hit him. “What are you doing?"

“I'm taking you home, of course," Holden replied with a grin, carrying her towards the car.

Meanwhile, Sadie, on the villa's second floor, witnessed the scene from the window.

She clutched the curtain tightly, her gaze fixed grimly on the direction Holden and Ariana left. Only when their car disappeared at the end of the road did she finally avert her eyes.

Why could Ariana win Holden's heart? That was so unfair!

Sadie was determined not to give up.

She swiftly sent a message to Zayden.

“I want Ariana dead. I'm willing to do anything for that to happen."

Zayden replied quickly, "Take care of yourself. Your unborn child is precious. I'll handle Ariana."

Sadie smirked coldly, thinking of how Holden had treated Ariana. She was filled with resentment and determination now.

"If you insist on this, Holden, I'll make you suffer," she muttered.

She then texted Zayden again, adding, "Don't forget about her son. He's also Holden's son."

Zayden's reply came quickly. "I'm well aware."
